Fund Raising Goals
There are two types of Fund Raisers conducted by the Madison Band and Flags Boosters.
The General Fund, Fund Raisers are designed to channel monies into the Band and Flags general account. This general account is our working capital needed to run the organization and assist the Band in its operations.
The Student Account Fund Raisers are designed to help the students and their families to raise money directly for use of the student. Whether this is to cover annual fees (SPEF) or help fund the student's costs of our Trips. We have a Trip at the end of every second year, our next Trip will be at the end of the 2009-2010 school year. Student Account balances do carry over from year to year, so you do have two years to fund a trip. It is a lot easier to work modestly on the Fund Raising opportunities over two years than it is to work hard the one year leading into the trip!
